1 Corinthians 15:57, 58
"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." |
Emery & Linda Aronson both joined the staff as singles in the 1970’s,
Linda in 1975 from upstate New York, and Emery from Texas, in 1976. They
married in 1981 and have two sons, Joseph, 18 years old and Matthew, 15
years old.
Linda is a talented bookkeeper and has worked in the Finance Department for
the past 27 years. Emery has had experience with operating
heavy equipment and is currently working in the Print Shop Department.
Emery has traveled thousands of miles
on the road driving a Teen Missions
bus and is a licensed CDL instructor for Teen Missions.
Emery
and Linda have been on staff longer than anyone else, except for the
founders. This
year they will stay in the office to keep things running
smoothly on the home front. In addition, 2003 is the
30th anniversary of Linda's first
summer involvement. In January and February, Linda had
the opportunity to go to Zambia for the Teen Missions
Africa Summit. While there, she
taught a class on how to properly do the finances as
well as going over the financial records of the TMI bases
in Africa. Emery and the boys had
a chance to "bach" it for the two weeks she was away. Matthew is
busy with baseball at high school, and in Little League. He sprained
his ankle, so right now he has to be careful
for a few weeks.
