In November 1997, Mike obeyed the call of God and came to Florida to attend the
Florida Free BIBLE, MISSIONARY & WORK Training Center.
After completing his studies in November 1999, Mike went to Teen Missions in Mozambique for
his year of internship. He returned home in April 2001 and moved back to Ohio.
In March 1999 Naomi also answered the call of missions and made her journey across the
seas to Merritt Island, Florida. After completing her studies in 2001, she began her
internship at the Florida base. After Boot Camp, she went to Madagascar and South Africa
to help with their Boot Camps and then returned to Florida as the Bible school secretary.
In 2002 she took the position of
Bible School
coordinator and has remained in that position ever since.
In March of 2004 a romance between Mike and Naomi, which began during their Bible
school years, was rekindled. The Lord opened the doors, and they became engaged
in May of that same year. They were married in Australia on January 15, 2005, and
returned to staff in Florida a few weeks later. Naomi spends her time working as
the Bible school coordinator, and Mike works in the Print Shop and with the
students as needed.
