Houten Family

Brent - was born in Grove City, PA, but didn't live there all of his life. He mostly moved around while growing up. The Lord revealed Himself to Brent in a very personal way when he was twenty-two years old. Shortly after, he moved back to Pennsylvania and got married.

Beth - was born in Pennsylvania, where she lived all of her life (until recently). At the age of nineteen, she realized her need for Christ after making a mess of it on her own. She has since had a desire to share that same hope with people who don't know Him.

Brent & Beth - were married twelve years ago in November. They have three children: Thaddaeus (10), Madeline (6), and Gwyneth (2). Beth was first introduced to Teen Missions in 1992 when she came on a Brazil team. God has been stirring in her ever since. Brent has worked with teenagers for many years. God has given him a desire and a compassion for youth and where they are in their lives. Brent & Beth attended the First Step (staff training) in March, then accompanied their son Thaddaeus to his Peanut Program (7-9 yr old missions). Since March, they've known that God prepared them for years to join staff and begin raising support. They joined staff in October of 2003 and are excited about what God has for them.
