Lindsay McCranie was born in Decatur, Georgia into a family of five children (four girls and one boy). Her Dad is a pastor, and has been all her life, so anytime the church doors were open, Lindsay was there.
Lindsay was homeschooled and did not know what she wanted to do with her life after high school. So she spent her time working full time, playing drums in church and in several Christian bands, being with her family and just living life to the fullest.
Every summer for most of her teenage years, Lindsay went on mission trips all over the world with Teen Missions International and loved being able to have the “hands on” experience in mission work, but never considered it for herself as a lifetime commitment.
It wasn’t until the summer of 2005 on her trip to Iceland that God really gave her the desire to commit her life totally to mission work and to become a full-time missionary with Teen Missions. Lindsay is sure this is where God wants her to be, but isn’t sure where she will end up. She is ready and willing to go anywhere that she is needed.
Currently Lindsay currently works in the Graphics Department at Teen Missions, and is leading summer teams. She is excited and anxious to know what God has planned for her, or where she is going to end up next!
