Pavkov Family

Marc grew up in Brazil as a missionary kid; he first heard of Teen Missions when he served as an interpreter for the Brazil Boot Camp in 1992. Andrea’s first experience with TMI was in 1990 when she went as a team member on the Hungary/Russia Team.

Marc and Andrea both attended the Teen Missions Bible, Missionary & Work Training Center where they met and fell in love. Once they finished their schooling they were married (December 7, 1996). Their first year of married life was spent completing their internships with Teen Missions in Mozambique, Africa. Their first son, Micah, was born on November 4, 1997 in Zimbabwe. They joined the staff of Teen Missions in January of 1998. They continued to serve at the TMI Mozambique base for a year and then returned to the U.S. shortly before Nathaniel was born on July 7, 1999. The Pavkov family continued to serve as U.S. staff until December 2001, when they left due to low support.

From that time on, they desired to return to full-time missions, but knew they needed to wait for the Lord’s perfect timing. In August of 2006, the Lord spoke clearly to them that they were to return to the staff of Teen Missions to serve in Mozambique once again. They are excited for the ministry the Lord has prepared them for in Mozambique where they will be serving at the TMI base, orphanage and Bible school.
